We have coordinated a great way for you to do what you’ve wanted to do but, didn’t have the time or know quite how to go about it. While doing so, your efforts will have double benefits.
In our card line you can find a patriotic card to say “thank you” and “get well” to our deserving service men and women recovering from wounds incurred in Iraq or Afghanistan. Pick the card you want to send and in the text box write your message, we will then handwrite your message in the card and send it on to Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. It’s that simple! You may also want to encourage families staying at Brooke's Fisher House, letting them know you care about them too. Either way, our military community needs to know that a grateful nation is supporting them in prayer and well wishes.
The price of these special project cards are $5.00. A donation of $2.00 from the purchase price will be donated to The Fisher House located close to Brooke.
The Fisher House is a non-profit organization that provides housing for the family members of injured service men and women. They are strategically located close to military hospitals. For more information, go to www.fisherhouse.org or to Brooke’s Fisher House
Valentines For Injured Soldiers:
Our Second Anniversary of Valentine's for Injured Soldiers was held February 7th, 2008. We Partnered with our local Starbucks and Childcare center and invited the community to make handmade "Get Well" and "Thank You" Valentine's for our injured soldiers recovering at Brooke Army Medical Center. It was a blast for all of us. Mike Reagan, the portrait artist and founder of Fallen Heroes Foundation was with us. Once again Mike Reagan was the recipient of Starbucks Corporate giving program known as "Make Your Mark". He received the maximum amount of $1,000.00.
Gold Star Mom Project:
Recently we completed a community supported project to purchase beautiful heart bracelets for Gold Star Moms in our State. The Program worked with both The Red White & Blue Card Co. and a Rep from Premiere Jewelry Co. which is a home show jewelry company. During the event we managed to receive 44 bracelets for some of our Gold Star Moms. Some may ask who a Gold Star Mom is, they are mom's who have suffered the loss of a child due to war. It is our commintment to help keep the sacrifice of our military community in the consciousness of our greater community. "Giving Honor Where Honor Is Due.

With each purchase of our greeting cards, you are assisting us as we sponsor worthwhile events. Thank you for your support!
